In Genesis 4 we see how the fall of man in chapter 3 starts to have its effects. Cain and his brother Abel bring their offerings before the Lord and it all ends with spilled blood and yet another curse on Cain. And man’s sinful spiral just continues down from there.
“If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” Genesis 4:7
