In Paul’s life, it is evident that his confidence comes from the Lord. He makes sure to tell the Corinthians how God’s triumph comes through their weakness by the grace of His spirit. If you knew God has your back, what would you do?
Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God.
