John helped establish Desert’s End in 2006 and has been tirelessly serving wherever there’s a need ever since—whether that’s setting up and tearing down after a service or leading Bible studies. As a deacon, he leads the Service small group, which focuses on meeting people’s practical needs.
John is married to Lilia and is the proud father of Alex and Alena. He is a quality assurance engineer, loves cracking dad jokes and spending quality time with his granddaughter, Ari. Originally from South Dakota, John enjoys cooler weather and taking walks under pine trees whenever he can.
