The message of the cross is foolishness to the world, but it is the wisdom of God, a plan to reconcile rebellious sinners to himself and make them his own. It is because of His wisdom that we have been given all things through Christ our Lord.
“And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, ‘Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31
